At Future Leader Learners, we’re taking cooking to a whole new level! Our exciting 4-week Cooking From Scratch mini-semester gives students the opportunity to get their hands messy, explore exciting ingredients, and create delicious masterpieces from scratch!
This isn’t a cooking demonstration. Our students are the chefs!
Week 1: Cookies & Candy Creations!
Students will make homemade peanut butter cookies AND gummy bears from scratch!
Week 2: Mini Cake Bakery!
From mixing the batter to creating homemade frosting, students will bake, decorate, and personalize their own miniature cakes.
Week 3: Pizza Party From Scratch!
Students will prepare their own pizza dough, explore ingredients, add their favorite toppings, and create delicious homemade pizzas!
Week 4: Pasta Perfection!
Students will make homemade pasta noodles and prepare a creamy Alfredo sauce from scratch!
Throughout this experience, students will develop valuable real-world skills, including:
Kitchen safety and food preparation
Measuring ingredients and applying math skills
Reading and following recipes
Teamwork and problem-solving
Creativity, independence, and confidence
